By using algos.sh you agree to these terms. They're short because the deal is simple: a free place to learn and practise, used in good faith.

The service

algos.sh offers guides, practice problems with a code runner, quizzes and progress tracking, free of charge. We work to keep it accurate and available, but it's provided as is: we can't promise it will always be up, that every explanation or test is free of mistakes, or that it will get you any particular job. Features may change or be removed.

Accounts

You can practise as a guest, or sign in with GitHub to keep your progress across devices. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your data at any time; see the privacy page.

Using the code runner fairly

The code runner is shared by everyone, so please don't:

• try to break out of its sandbox, reach the network, or attack the server or other users;
• use it for anything other than solving the problems: no mining, no general-purpose computing;
• flood it with automated submissions or work around its rate limits;
• submit malicious code or content you don't have the right to share.

We may limit or block access that does these things. If you find a security problem, please tell us instead of exploiting it: [email protected].

Content

The guides, graphics, explanations, problem statements, tests and solutions on algos.sh are ours. You're welcome to use what you learn anywhere and to link to any page, but please don't copy the content wholesale or republish it.

The code you write is yours. By running it here you let us store it and run it to give you results, as described on the privacy page.

Company names on problems indicate the style of question reported for that company's interviews or assessments. algos.sh isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies, and their names and trademarks belong to them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, algos.sh isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, or for losses caused by outages, bugs or lost data. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. If a change matters, for example if paid plans are added, we'll say so on the site. Continuing to use it after that means you accept the new terms.
